Premium leave can be done if your investment value is sufficient to pay all insurance costs. Applications for premium leave must be made 30 days before the due date of the next premium. When taking premium leave, you are not allowed to make any transactions (Top Up, Switching, Redemption, etc.). If during the premium leave period, the investment value in the policy is not sufficient to pay all insurance costs, then the policy becomes Lapse / Inactive meaning that the protection is no longer valid. If the investment value in your policy is still sufficient to pay all insurance costs, the policy is still active. If the Investment Value is insufficient then the policy becomes Lapse / Inactive, meaning that the insurance protection is no longer valid.
2. Non-Unit Link Products
If the premium payment is not made according to the time given, then the policy becomes Lapse / Inactive, meaning that the protection is no longer valid.
Yes, the grace period for premium payment is 30 days and / or 60 days (according to the terms of each product) from the due date.
You will get a Policy or Policy Summary / Overview and E-Policy (E-Policy is sent via Whatsapp, SMS, & Email) as proof of participation in accordance with the provisions of each BRI Life Insurance protection product.
You will receive a Policy Addendum via WhatsApp, SMS, and Email after the change process is complete.
If your insurance policy is Lapse / Inactive then:
1. The insurance coverage on the policy is no longer valid.
2. The waiting period (waiting period) will return from the beginning.
3. Submission of claims will be rejected, because PT. BRI Life Insurance is not obliged to pay these claims.

The Inforce / Active Policy is a policy where the premium payment has been fully paid (on time).
Lapse / Inactive Policy is a policy whose coverage does not apply due to non-payment of premiums and / or insurance costs.
Periodic Basic Premium is the premium paid periodically by the Policy Holder during a predetermined premium payment period, the amount of which is the same at each due date and becomes a condition for the validity of insurance protection.
Top Up Premium is additional funds from Policyholders which must be paid regularly at each premium maturity and is allocated to purchase additional units / investments.
